08 - Bridge of Dava
Late 18th century single span bridge, some re-construction in later 19th century; roughly dressed ashlar segmental arch ring springing from tooled rubble abutments. Some re-building (later 19th century) with sharp curve at E bank. Approximate span; 36'. Appears to have been hump-back bridge, reconstructed to obviate hump with levelled approaches and re-aligned to take in sharp curve of road line (probably also re-aligned in later 19th century). Some unsympathetic modern repair work to masonry.
